Abstract +

48to1 is an independant skate magazine with the aim of accurately representing skate culture in Cornwall. This was achieved through interviewing and photographing local skaters. Issue 2 was created in collaboration with skate photographer and fellow Falmouth University graduate Oscar Dryden.

Brief

To create a second edition of 48to1 Cornish Skate Magazine, using existing brand guidelines and systems to create cohesion between issues, while bringing new material into the magazine.

Social Strategy

Creating videos and social posts was key to the sucess of Issue 02. Reminding old time supporters and hyping potential new customers helped spread awareness within Cornwall and surrounding counties that 48 to 1 was BACK!

The engagement and support from everyone showed us how valuable sharing a part of their culture to a larger audience was. Selling hundreds of copies over several years.
